For the 2020-21 and 2021-22 school year, the USDA granted waivers to school districts for breakfast and lunch services.  One aspect of these waivers was the ability for school districts to offer meals at no charge to students.  The district received full reimbursement from the USDA.

The last day for these waivers in Scappoose School District is June 15, 2022

In order for families to prepare for the 2022-23 school year we want to share this information and let you know we are required to begin charging for meals at the start of the school year.

2022-23 Meal prices for students will be:

Breakfast:                                           $2.00

Elementary Lunch:                          $3.25

SMS Lunch                                          $3.50

SHS Lunch                                           $3.75

Adult meals will be:

Breakfast                                             $2.50

Lunch                                                    $4.00

The updated free and reduced form will be available when school offices open in August.  The form will be shared as a link on the district website and paper forms will also be available in the main office at your child’s school.

We encourage everyone to complete a form whether or not they feel they are eligible.  The State of Oregon has expanded eligibility with different limits than USDA.
