Dear OPE School Community, 

Welcome to the 2023-2024 School Year!

From my earliest memories, I knew that I wanted to be in school learning, growing, and exploring. Once I was able to attend Rock Creek Elementary School in the Beaverton School District, I knew I had found my calling. I would come home to teach my little sister all I had learned that day in our room, which I quickly converted into a makeshift classroom. I embraced my inner educator from a very young age and haven’t looked back! As I step into the role of Principal at Otto Petersen, I bring with me a passion for nurturing growth, fostering curiosity, and inspiring students to dream beyond limits.

I firmly believe in the transformative power of education. It's a privilege to be a part of a process that equips students with not only knowledge but also the tools to think critically and act empathetically. As principal, my goal is to work collaboratively with our incredible staff to create an environment where students thrive academically, emotionally, and socially.

Beyond my professional pursuits, I find joy in bouldering, paddleboarding, crocheting, and gardening. I love playing board games with my family and friends, spending time with my furry companions, and reading, reading, reading. 

I look forward to connecting with students, parents, and the entire Otto Petersen community. Together, we can inspire young minds, shape futures, and leave an enduring impact on generations to come.
