    Dear Class of 2021,

It's getting close to the end of the school year, which means we want to know what you are up to and recognize you for all of your accomplishments.  Please read the information below carefully.  Contact your counselor with any questions.

    • Trade School/Apprenticeship Awards
    • Enlisting in the Military

  • Transcript and Letter of Recommendations (LOR) Requests

Seniors, it is important that you know that we will not be sending any Transcripts or LORs over winter break.  If you need a Transcript or LOR sent during that time (December 19th through January 3rd) you will need to get the request in Naviance no later than December 17th.  Also, requesting LORs is easy, but writing them does take some time for the teachers.  If you need a LOR to be sent in before winter break, you should be requesting that NOW.  Be sure to complete the Letter of Recommendation Survey as well.  It can be found in the "About Me" section on Naviance.

  • Oregon Promise - DEADLINE: June 1, 2021.

The Oregon Promise (YouTube link) is a state grant that helps to cover tuition costs at any Oregon community college for recent high school graduates.  Students must apply during their senior year. Find your deadline here.  We encourage you to apply for this grant regardless of your plans after high school.  A lot can change in a short amount of time so it’s important to have a Plan B, especially one that could potentially offer FREE tuition to you.  Here you can find the Oregon Promise Application.  Please contact your counselor if you have any questions or need assistance in completing the application.
