My name is Mr. Weaver and I couldn't be more excited to be teaching PE here at Scappoose Middle School!  I have an intense passion for physical education and love getting to make a difference in the lives' of my students.  

I grew up in St. Helens where I competed in baseball, basketball, football, and track.  I always knew I needed to pursue a carreer that incorporated fitness and health into my daily life.  I set off on my journey to Oregon State University, where I earned a dual bachelor's degree in exercise-sport science and physical education.  I then went into athletic/personal training for 7 years before deciding to go back to school for my master's of art in teacing (MAT) from Eastern Oregon University.  

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my wife Heather and my two beautiful daughters, Ava and Isabella.  We have a small, 5 acre farm in the hills of Scappoose, where we raise Australian Shepherds, New Zealand Meat Rabbits, 2 cats, , and 8 resident blacktail deer.  I also enjoy many other physical pursuits such as weight training, Muay Thai Kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, camping, hunting, fishing, archery, hiking, snowboarding, gardening, and of course barbequeing.
